SPORT INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION
The professional organisation of your cycling tour in France

Our tours are designed for constituted teams from abroad who are seeking suitable venues in France and a highly qualified management for their preparation.

  • These tours are supervised by Marion CLIGNET in person
  • The touring period is determined by the group itself
  • We highly recommend touring France during the Tour de France
Sport International Organisation provides:
  • Accommodation in hotels or in sports centres
  • Meals adapted to the needs of cyclists
  • A trailer for bikes
  • Circuits and detailed maps
Porfessional training courses
These courses are focused on surpassing oneself and the will to win !
  • Marion CLIGNET is personally involved in accompanying cyclists in their quest for excellence and performance.
  • In her role of 'coach' together with the group's trainer and having previously located suitable circuits, Marion will plan your group's preparation and select the circuits to be accomplished. The entire programme of the training course is based on the objective of the group, on the set dates and, of course, on the level of the cyclists.
Our 'discovery' courses
This type of course is specially conceived for school or university students coming to France to discover the country by cycling.

Programmes are 'tailor-made' according to the length of your stay, your cycling level, the cultural approach of the group and budget specifications. If the group requires sub-division according to levels, Marion CLIGNET will be in charge of the elite group.

Tour of the alps
Camp-base is in the Southern Alps between Gap and Briançon.

This allows cyclists to have access to very difficult circuits with 8 to 12% climbs. This will naturally include the mythical Alpe d'Huez pass which has been a legendary tour stage 25 times with its 21 curves. In the same area, all the itineraries include the Lautaret Pass and the Galibier Pass at 2645m. A little further north, closer to a series of important ski resorts, you will reach the St. Jean de la Maurienne Valley via the Col de la Croix de Fer at 2067m. Then, why not end up a bit further south by the mythical Mont Ventoux ?

Tour of the pyrénées

Here again, the circuits include a series of famous passes such as the Tourmalet at 2115m. With a difference from the Alps, the Pyrenees are characterized by an alternation of hilly terrain around Pau and Tarbes and steeper stretches as you approach the mountains.

The programme comprises a 17km up-hill stretch of terrain starting from Lourdes to get to the top o the Hautacam at 1520m which was part of the 2008 Tour de France circuit. The tour of this region includes a wealth of breathtaking and unique landscapes and cultural aspects which will allow you to admire the Pic du Midi, the Val d'Azun and various sports resorts that overlook the Valley d'Argelès-Gazost.

We are grateful to Marion for setting the contact with SIO. A big 'thank-you' to her, though she made us suffer ! We all love you, and the great job you did for organising the experience of a lifetime. The boys are still buzzing as they retell stories of the Tour. It went beyond our expectations.
So, our time with you in the Alpes was well spent. We won regional and national titles with Tom W and Leo H in their respective teams. We even set new records in the regional championships. We set 2 new national records at the NZ championship last week, and little A Ray, 'the devil on wheels', got 2 bronze medals in individual road races.
